Here�s a chart with conjunctions/connectives. I use it as a handout for my students. I sometimes play a game naming some of the connectives and the sts have to guess what type of conjunction/connective it is. I hope it�s useful for some of you out there.

Slang expressions
Here are some slang expressions. Students hardly ever get the chance to learn them although it�s very often used in daily conversation. This is not for the yougsters but for adults who are tired of studying grammar all the time.

This ws (3 pages) is about Famine. Sts have to make a list with immediate needs and future needs, make up sentences by using must, can, will, should, might and could. A great ws to get your sts into the basic verb tenses. Only five sentences for each tense. Sts have to fill in the correct form of the verb and label the pictures.
