House types
I had some time in the summer and put together the basic house types using autoshape. The pictures can be enlarged (and they remain the same quality) and used as flashcards too. It was quite a lot of work but I enjoyed it and hope it was worth it. Have a lovely Friday!

GIVING DIRECTIONS
To practice this topic I made a big town map on wrapping paper which I use in the classroom. This is the worksheet version of the map; I hope it will be as useful as the big one I use. There is also a collection of words and expressions, a gapfill dialogue and some speaking tasks.

BANKING - PERSONAL FINANCE
I have tried to provide my students with the basic vocabulary of everyday banking. The words and expressions have explanations, then a matching and gapfill exercise provide practice. The text may seem a little bit ´forced´, but as I was not able to come across a proper one I had to write it myself. Enjoy teaching!

Key is included. Have a nice w...

Where do you live?
It´s an easy reading comprehension task with a new set of ´my houses´ and the lovely figures of Country Clipart by Lisa. But beside doing the task, the worksheet can be used in many different ways for vocabulary extension, speaking practice, pair- and group work (e.g. students make true or false statements). Although the summer holiday is still in ...

Halloween story
Students have to complete a simple text about a girl´s Halloween celebrations in the US. Instead of the words, students have to use the pictures as clues. The worksheet makes it possible to practice the Simple Past forms and of course to learn or revise some Halloween information. Most of the cliparts are from Country Clipart by Lisa, except for th...
