Time bingo
Rules are on the worksheet for those that don´t know how to play bingo. I had to delete some of the cards because of the file limit but if your class is fairly big you can always cut and paste for a bigger set of cards. Nice filler activity.

Conspiracy Theory Role-Play
This a fun way to do a reading and debate. If you can get a white fluffy cat for them to stroke while being the villains, even better! Tell the students they are all members of an evil but secret organisation that runs all the big industries of the world called SECTUM. The main source of income for this organisation is petroleum but it controls th...

Phrasal Verb Bingo: Phrasal verbs with down part 2
Part 2 of my phrasal verbs with down series. It always works with my students but you´ll need to check to make sure there are no surprises. Be careful of differences between American and British English. This works! How to play 1. Cut out the bingo cards below and hand them out to the class. 2. Read the list below the bingo cards aloud and ...

IT Crowd S2 Episode 1 Work outing
A question list for use with Series 2 Episode 1 of the IT Crowd. I´ve seen a couple of excellent worksheets for this very episode, by the way, but my students like big question lists to see how many they can answer. If this sheet isn´t what you´re looking for just enter IT Crowd in the search box and you might find what you´re looking for.

What does it mean? 2
The second of my quizzes for students that speak Romance languages. Some false friends and some cognates as well as some of the more mundane but not so well-known words in common usage. Divide students into small teams and award each team a point for the right answer. Answer key provided. Have fun!

Synonymous Adjective Bingo
An effective way of expanding basic vocabulary. Cut out the cards and the word slips. Handout the cards to the students and place the word-slips in a cup. Take one slip out at a time and read aloud. Students say the synonym of the adjective you said while those that have it cross it off the card. First one to cross off al words shouts bingo. To bac...
