prince charming or charming prince

Hi, everybody. I have a question. I m teaching 2nd conditional, and I want to ask to my ss the following question: "What would you do if you met your prince charming?  Is this question right? Does that make sense? Thanks in advance.

Yes, the question makes sense because the term "prince charming" is something English speakers use to identify the ideal man or man of your dreams. In this case, "prince charming" could even be capitalized to "Prince Charming" as it is in many fairy tale stories, including Cinderella. Here, "charming" is not being used as an adjective but as part of the term itself and is now a pronoun.

Your question is correct as are the answers.  If you google my prince charming you will find many success stories of people meeting their prince charming.

A charming prince is different... and so is ..."What would you do if you met a prince charming"

Cheers
