I think your best bet would be to take it to a specialist. That happened to me once and I actually took it to Office Depot and they recovered my info. for me. Hope this helps.

A computer crash does not wipe your HD.  You will only lose your files if you reformat.Try to reinstall Windows from your setup cd.  Just put it in your cd drive and it will boot from the cd.  Crashes are usually just corrupted or missing files. BTW, do Macs ever crash?

First question...

when your computer crashed do you know if it was due to a hard drive failure or was it from something else?

If it was due to a hard drive failure you should be able to plug that into another system & recover all of your files very easily!

Failing that, if you don t have a backup copy of your downloads, then you really only have a few of options.... unless you want to seek professional IT help to restore data from your failed hard drive (if that was the problem)

1) appeal to the members whose work you know youve downloaded & see if they ll email you another copy (do this by PM rather than the forum);

2) send a general appeal for people to send you some worksheets. Do this via the forum but don t list your email address. Members who will offer to help you will either say so in their reply or PM you to let you know. Only send your email address by PM so as to avoid spam!

3) start from scratch & download everything you need as you have points available to do so.

Good luck!

You need an expert s hand there. In most cases, everything can be recovered. I guess you went frantic. It has happened to me a couple of times. Don t worry. Get proper help. My best regards, Idalina Jorge
