palindromes words is a word that you can read for both sides,that can be read the same way in either direction
example:
dog -->GOD
saw-->was
star--->rats
live-->evil
Can you give more examples

a palindrome is a word that is spelt the same way backwards, so you �re examples are actually incorrect.
SEE:
bob - bob
 
nun - nun
 
mum - mum

palindromes can also be phrases which can be adjusted to be read backwards, see these examples from wikipedia.
 
Four famous English palindromes are "Able was I ere I saw Elba"[3] (which is also palindromic with respect to spacing), "A man, a plan, a canal, Panama!�,[4] and �Madam, I �m Adam� or "Madam, in Eden I �m Adam"

Allegedly Eve �s reply was, "Name no one man."
