What s the difference between REVIEW and REVISION?

Hi Nereis,

I have a university student who sends me her papers and I REVIEW them. (I study her papers and then make suggestions.) She reads my corrections and makes the REVISIONS. It means literally a process of revising. (changing)

Review when not used as a verb, (as I have done above) can also be used as a noun meaning a critcal article or report...such as a review of a movie.
Revision, used as a noun, would be the finished work after the corrections.

Does this help?
