I have another question which needs your help!
Turn this statement into passive voice:
- They pay designers a lot of money
--> Designers are paid a lot of money
--> A lot of money is paid to designers
I wonder whether " to" is obligatory in this case. Thanks in advance

yes. you must put the to before the indirect object.
