Use of articles with proper names

Dear Friends, please help me in this one. Do we use the definite articles with the names of airports?
We arrived at _?_  Heathrow Airport 3 hours before the flight
We arrived at _?_ Istanbul Atarurk Airport in the morning
Thanks
Maryna

No, you do not usually use a definite article with the names of airports. Although, if you didnt specify the place, you would have to use it.

i.e.

We arrived at Heathrow Airport at 4.
We arrived at "the" airport at 4.
