Whodunnit? Looking for soundtracks about detective stories.

Dear friends,

I m preparing lessons for next year and I need some short listening tests about detective stories, famous detectives, famous detective story writers, mysteries...

Where could I find useful soundtracks, please?

I ve looked everywhere I know but to no avail unfortunately!

As soon as I ve found some, I ll devise a listening test, which I ll upload.

Thanks for your help & kindness!! :)  HugHugHug

Cheers,

Marie.

hello Marie,

Have you thought of Roald Dahl s stories. even though there is no detective in them, there is some mystery!

I ve also used the murder of the beauty Queen. It is a report but it can lead to a quest of the murderer . http://www.crimescene.com/beauty/index.html

These are my ideas for now. I unfortunately do not have any Sherlock Holmes on audio files. But you could use parts of the movie maybe?

In my school we have Sherlock Holmes stories and E. A. Poe s detective stories, as well as some other crime stories, which we got from Penguin Readers and MacMillan readers - books with cds (abridged at many different levels). You could probably find some in your bookshops or even order them online.

You could use these and develop your own questions for the listening.
