Christmas lesson with adult beginners

Dear friends, do you have any ideas for a Christmas lesson with adult beginners (they ve been learning English for 3 months). Thanks for your help!

I would try a song like "A white Christmas"  or "Holy Night". First I would give them the Christmas vocabulary. There are many workheets with Christmas vocabulary here. Even if they are adults, they will like nice pictures.

I have used the some of the worksheets on the site.  I used one of the worksheets with Christmas vocabulary and once they learned it I played Taboo with them, and used the puzzels.  Look here http://www.eslprintables.com/buscador/buscar.asp?nivel=any&age=0&tipo=any&contents=christmas&username=&B1=Search
you will find lots of good ideas and material.

As they are beginners, I d suggest to introduce Christmas vocabulary with flashcards (with and without words - a great way to work with new words), then a crossword or wordsearch to practice. Students love them!
Good luck! Smile
