Word of the Day Winner

Well he did it again!

I loved all of your answers from hags to haggis to Japanese first times and from Hebrew holy to Yankee English, but to have come up with Hadji from Johnny Quest--that won my vote.

Ed is, once again the Word of the Day winner!

The word was ( I said it was keeping with the holiday season):

hagiology (hăgˌē-ŏlˈə-jē, hāˌjē-)
noun pl. hagiologies hagiologies
  1. Literature dealing with the lives of saints.
  2. A collection of sacred writings.
  3. An authoritative list of saints.

Thanks for the laughs everyone!
