description of a criminal

Hi there,

I need your help! Namely,  soon I ll start to talk about crime and criminals during my lessons and I m thinking about using a part of a film showing a description of a criminal/ crime scene. I ve been looking for such examples for some time but I have problems. Could you give me some ideas or the titles of films or episodes I would be really thankful.

Regards

Anita

There s a show called "Criminal Minds" and it deals with FBI criminal profiling. If you can get a copy of one of the episodes you might be able to select a part where they actrually describe (profile) the suspect they are looking for. The show "Numbers" also has a similar theme.

well theres tonnes of films with crime so maybe you can  narrow your field a bit.  Do you have  a specific crime in mind?  Drugs, underage drinking, robbery, assault, murder, white collar crime/fraud, theft, break and enter, driving offences, etc.

What age group/level is this for?

It s for 15 year old students and it could be robbery, murder or theft. As I said I ve been looking for the description for some time but when you want sth good it s difficult to find. I would appreciate any help.

have a look at my worksheet: http://www.eslprintables.com/printable.asp?id=495934#thetop I used it with my pupils (15 16 years old - intermediate) and it worked well! the film "FRACTURE" is perfect to talk about murder and its motive...
take care!
