In Saudi Arabia we write the muslim date on the board.During the supervisor visit one of my sts read the  date 1432 as follows one thousand four hundred thirty two.The supervisor didin �t agree considering the right reading is fourteen thirty two but I okayed both readings .Please tell me whether the first reading is right or not .I �ll be thankful if you provide me with websites to convince the supervisor

just asked an English   friend of mine and she spontaneously says: "fourteen eighty two" but if you look at the link below; the other way seems  possible:

Adel, you can say either:
 
fourteen thirty two  OR   fourteen hundred and thirty two. 
 
The first reading is not correct.
 
I don �t know about websites but most grammar books will explain it as above.
