There is an excellent book called Learning Styles by Marlene LeFever, published by Kingsway Publications, Eastbourne ISBN number 0 85476 791 6.  It is written specifically for Sunday School teachers, but don�t let that put you off.  It is a scholarly and detailed look at children�s learning styles which are relevant to all aspects of education.

I would suggest searching for multiple intelligences or Howard Garner - the theorist behind these learning styles.
