Cringeworthy means something which can make you cringe as in the meaning above.
If someone made a public speech and said embarrassing things it would worthy of a cringe or cringeworthy.
If someone knelt down in a public place such as a Wimpy Restaurant,or McDonald �s to propose marriage to you and you felt very embarrassed. It would make you cringe. This type of proposal would be cringeworthy. |

If something is cringeworthy it �s so cheesy or embarrassing on the part of the person who did it that it makes you cringe.
