Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to you all!
I�m starting preparations for next January�s lessons already, and though I might get some ideas together.
I�ve found out that 2009 is the �International Year of Astronomy�.
If anyone knows any other things that 2009 is the International Year for, please add them to this thread & give me a link to a website too!

As far as I know, 2009 is the �International Year of Astronomy� because in 2009, we are going to celebrate the �International Year of Astronomy� to remember the 400th anniversary of Galileo�s use of a telescope to
study the sky. It was really a significant breakthrough in the history of astronomy, wasn�t it?
