I just finished making activities for the horribly romantic video to the song "You belong with me" by Taylor Swift. The song is nice but the video makes every girl melt (and some boys too, I bet) That is what I ´ll be doing with my 6th graders (12 yrs old)
In the past I worked with another Taylor Swift song. "love story" also a great video, I even wrote an easy version of the Romeo and Juliet story to go with the song to show them the original story...They all had hear about it but none of them really knew it...
I would love to do the song "make you feel my love", originally by Dylan but now sung by Adele. That is one of my personal favorite love songs I suppose...but a bit too mature for my students (primary only)

I know they are old songs, but they always work well because they have become classic. By the way, there are wonderful worksheets here that you can use. |
