To have or having?

Hi everyone,

My friend and I argued a lot about this sentence

He dreads (have) to retire.

I think we should use TO HAVE in this situation, but my friend thought it should be HAVING.
Anyone can help with this?
Many thanks.
Kara

Dread should be collocated with a gerund, so HAVING is correct.
