hi! could anyone help me?can we say : go on a picnic ? I found take or have a picnic . but i don t know why i m sure we say go on a picnic . can you look it up for me plz ? GREAT THANKS IN ADVANCE Embarrassed

Go on a picnic implies that you are going to a picnic travelling somewhere to have a picnic.
Take a picnic is when you bring the food.
Have a picnic suggests the type of food you might be eating...ie picnic food.You could have a picnic in your own house/garden.
Very subtle differences.
