There are some good ppts on here about teaching reading.For introducing new vocabulary, why not demonstrate? My colleague recently taught some basic Japanese to staff. She introduced a word, demonstrated it, sounded it out, asked them to repeat it, then practise in pairs. when she had introduced five new words or group of words, they had to pick out the correct one etc... |
