Looking for materials, vidoes, websites about disabilities

Hello!
Next school year, with one of my classes we are going to have a multidisciplinary project about handicap.
Teaching English to teenagers with a level of English not being very high, it is a real challenge for me! I would like my class to be interesting and active. I have already started preparing my lessons, but I am wondering if some of you could help me find videos or materials about the positive and negative aspects of some disabilities. I was thinking about maybe getting in touch with some schools where students have some kind of disabilities so our students could exchange mails or chat together...
If some of you have already worked on that theme, please, just tell me how it worked!
Thanks a lot in advance.

The video I am Sam is excellent. It deals with Downs Syndrome. If you look at Hallmark Hall of Fame movies there are many movies that look at various disabilities. Another good one is Soul Surfer where a 13Year old girl loses her arm  and the challenges she faces.

What about the film My left foot - or the one about Helen Keller (can t remember what that one is called). Another good film about someone who has a lot of issues to overcome is Precious.
