Hello dear friends!
May be this is a silly question, but
Can you help me with the meaning of this word (Gangsta) I have heard it a lot but couldn�t understand the meaning yet.

I had to look it up myself - never heard of it before.  At first I thought you wanted to say "gangster" meaning criminal/bandit, but I see things have changed !!!

Yes, "gangsta" is directly derived from "gangster." In many non-standard dialects of American English, final r �s in unstressed syllables are omitted, and the spelling in "gangsta" reflects that. It �s also used to differentiate more modern criminals or criminal wanna-bes from more historical counterparts such as Al Capone or Lucky Luciano.
