Bambi - It has animals and very little dialogue.  It is good for teaching seasons, forests, etc.

I use a cartoon "Gogo". It s easy and very nice for the 1st grade. I think you can find it in the Internet. Sorry, I don t have a link, I downloaded it for use some years ago and have forgotten the site.

I really like this movie, but you may check if the all the scenes are appropriate for your Ss ages and for the school you work for.

Hi,
do you know the Magic English collection?
Here is a playlist: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XNaFjM6seoA&feature=share&list=PLE2CAFADDC3F2E60A

There is also the portuguese version (agora repete, agora a tua vez...) but once they get used to it they don t need it.

And then of course you can look for "short" movies (about 20mn) like the Smurfs, they just released 1 for Halloween really nice - The legend of Smurfy Hollow.
If you need more help send me a message.
Greetings :)

Hello, Susana!

I often use Magic English movies to consolidate or start a topic, they are available on You tube! Children love them! With a duration of more or less, half an hour, they are perfect to acquire vocabulary!  Have fun! Kisses, Sara :)
