Correct spelling regarding capitalisation

Hello, everyone! My question is a very simple one: Which alternative is correct - "This is an Easter bunny" or "This is an easter bunny"? The only difference is the capitalisation of the word Easter / easter in the middle of a sentence... should it be capitalised or not?

Easter needs to be capitaluzed. It s the name of a holiday.

Thank you, Doot! I thought so, but I wasn t sure, as I was afraid it might be an interference from my native Portuguese (in Portuguese that is the rule, but capitalization rules sometimes differ in English and in Portuguese). And now I know for sure!

And if you had used "the" instead of "an," you would have needed to capitalize both words, Easter Bunny, as the name of a character.
