Could you please help me to come up with some ideas for a fun activity with 4-5 year olds learning how to measure the time. I �d like to use an electronic sand timer to measure some simple activities to give them an idea of time. E.g., How long will it take you to jump 10 times? To go off the slide? ... 

Could you help me to think of some more fun activities they can do in class or in the playground for under a minute? 2 minutes?

- sort the shapes (triangles, circles, squares, etc.) by colour/shape

- count to twenty backwards (20-19-18-etc.) if they don �t know that yet, try counting to ten backwards (10-9-8-etc.)

- hide some stuff in the room and ask them to find, e.g. team 1 will look for apples, team 2 will look for bananas, tell them how many there should be.
