RAMADAN KAREEM FOR ALL MUSLIM MEMBERS OF ESLPRINTABLES

SALAMO ALAYKOM
Here is just a very humble contribution to greet all Muslim members of Eslprintables for the coming of the HOLY MONTH OF RAMADAN,which will start tomorrow if GOD willing.
So let me just provide you with some information about RAMADAN: It is the 9th month of the Muslim Hijri Calendar in which ALLAH has sent down the HOLY QURAN to OUR PROPHET MOHAMED (may peace be upon HIM) as messenger and guide to mankind.During  this month, mature muslims must fast ( fasting is one of  the  5 PILLARS of ISLAM) from sun rise to sun set except the ill( mentally, physically and dianetic people),the travellers ,the children, the pregnant females during mestrual bleeding or breastfeeding babies ( and in all cases when fasting may represent a threat for peoples lives) .That is,They have to abstain from eating ,drinking and having sexual intercourse with their wives or husbands. As for prayers, muslims are asked to pray a prayer called ATTARAWIH,which comes after they finish praying AL ISHA prayer ( late evening prayer).During the last ten days of RAMADAN, there is a special night called LAYLATO AL QADR ( the night of destiny).Muslims celebrate it on the 27th night of RAMADAN;they stay up praying all through the night till sun rise.On this day, most children fast and are rewarded with presents and gifts after breaking the fast at sun set.Families and relatives exchange visits ;muslims give Alms (charity) to the needy and the poor.RAMADAN ends after 29 or 30 days of fasting. The 1st day of CHAWAL ( the Hijri month after RAMADAN) , is  a feast called AID AL FITR ( the breakfast day): it is the day which marks the end of RAMADAN :it starts with AL AID PRAYER at mosques or at MSALAS ( a vast and open area for thousands of Muslims to pray at ) ; in most  Muslim countries, people and children wear new clothes and exchange visits to inquire about relatives and friends.
