Hi to everybody. 
One of my new students in particular has a problem with his vocabulary.
What I mean is that he �s actually quite good with grammar and comprehension but he doesn �t know a lot of words.
So to help him improve his grades I �m giving him pictionaries and wordlists of words he should know by now (his former teacher graded him as an intermediate level, but how is it possible if he didn �t know how to say "flour" or "gloves"?)
 
Anyway we �ve already caught up with: Foods, Clothes, Illness, House, Jobs.
 
But now I �m lost. What other wordlist could I help him with?

I would recommend Oxford Word Skills Series. A very good (if not the best) textbook for teaching vocabulary, from beginner to advanced. The course has  excellent interactive CDs.
