What does "do a dare" mean?
 
I haven �t been able to find a good explanation for "to do a dare"... Can anyone help me? Thank you!!

A dare is a challenge, usually a prank.
 
Usually this challenge is something forbidden that other children challenge or force another child to perform.
 
Example:  I dare you to steal a pen from the teacher �s desk (without getting caught). I dare you to walk on top of the fence without falling off.
