Hello dear fellow teachers

I recently come across the term �common core standard" a lot and have been trying to figure out what it actually really is.
I think i have an idea, but want to make sure. Is the common core standard the same as the common european framework - just that is for done for the USA?

And I �m also wondering while you are teaching how much attention do you actually pay to meet those standards?

Here is what is being pushed in Asia. I have to give a Saturday and Sunday class this weekend to Thai teachers using this stuff. A2 to B1 to help prepare them for tests. I have to pay attention so that the students meet the standards. I do not think this is the same as the common core standard in the US though.
