Please tell me if we can change this sentence He could not go to Da Lat last week He wished he had been able to Da Lat last week Or He wished he could have gone to Da Lat last week. Which is better? Thanks in advance

Both variants are possible, but you have missed the verb to go in the first one.

He wished he had been able to go to Da Lat last week.

For me the second variant sounds better.

The second sounds more like natural speech and is less formal but both are correct.
