have a nose bleed or have a nose bleeding or have a bleeding nose?

Have a nose bleed - a recurring event or something that happens to you for no good reason. This is what pupls will say if their nose starts bleeding in class. �I�ve got a nose bleed.� 
 
Have a bleeding nose - this is what happens if somebody thumps you or you bang it! And you would probably say �My nose is bleeding!� rather than �I�ve got a bleeding nose�.

If someone thumps you, you can also say, "I have a bloody nose," or "He/She gave me a bloody nose."
