Class cancelled or dismissed?

DEAR COLLEAGUES?
What do you say when there is a natural disaster or a riot and you don t teach?
Class cancelled, dismissed or something else?
Thanks a lot

Cancelled.
You dismiss your class at the end of the lesson.

To build on Lynne s answer:

Canceled/Cancelled: no class that day
Dismissed Early: class leaves early
Postponed or Delayed: class meets late.

With the crazy weather in my state this year, my community college class has met all three conditions!
