I don t know what age your Ss are, but how about using Richie Rich cartoon character and u can elicit from your SS info like He is very rich, his mother wears lots of jewellery, they have a big car, he s got lots of friends, he lives in a big house etc... You could use flash cards together with the cartoon to get your Target Language. Drill the sentences before writing them up with your flash cards, have the ss brainstorm things that rich people do, drink , live , drive etc...you can have so much fun with this topic and if they are adults use a famous rich film star, you can then follow on later by adding to the story when you do past simple with , he was rich now he is poor.....if you use a fallen hero . I hope this helps you, have a gr8 evening ;o)
