Prohibition in America and Al Capone: Reading Comprehension +key Prohibition in America and Al Capone: Reading Comprehension +key

These worksheets include a text about Al Capone and Prohibition in America and reading comprehension tasks ( global/detailed). It includes a "funny and humourous" activity such as Al Capone´s "CV" to fill in, with the help of the text. The follow up work consists in a writing task : pupils have to imagine Al Capone´s living conditions in Alcatraz : Al Capone writes to his brother Ralph to tell him how he feels there and tells him about a typical day in that very famous jail. I have included a list of websites which can be useful to the students in order to figure out what it was like to be imprisoned in Alcatraz! Hope you will enjoy these worksheets!
