The Spy Game
This is a classroom activity for 10 - 30+ students.
This game can be used for any simple question/answer student speaking activity. For example, "Where are you from? I am from ..." or "Whatīs your favourite color? My favorite color is ..."
Students each receive a card or token that dictates their answer, e.g. a blue card, or a flag card. But some students get special tokens (like go-stones) that mean they are a spy.
The spies can lie or say any answer.
The students form groups of 2 or 3 or 4 depending on how many people they can find with the same answer. But, when they go forward to the teacher (who repeats the question to them) if there is a spy in their group they spy wins and other students lose.
