Ask the teacher!
A quick and easy game for low-level students to practise question formation. Especially good for a first class.
Divide the class into groups, and give each group a sheet and 10-15 minutes to write questions to ask you (the teacher).
Draw a chart on the board with each group getting 4 or 5 questions to ask. Go round and hear their questions, correcting where neccessary, and giving your (true?) answers. A certain question (or question word) can only be used once, so once one group has asked it, other groups have to use a different idea. The winning group has most points at the end.
Fun and great as a get-to-know you!
