Build a Sentence
Use after you have taught adjectives, nouns and verbs. In advance make numerous index cards that have adjectives, nouns and verbs on them. One per card. I color coded them with a marker border to keep them in the correct baskets. Students then randomly choose one from each basket and fill the words in the blanks on their worksheet. Then they use all three words to make a sentence and it can be a silly sentence.
