Pronunciation battleships! Fun game to REALLY improve pronunciation.
Students draw battleships for THEIR team on the B-grid. There should be one ship each of 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 squares (5 ships in total). Then students use the words along the side for co-ordinates. If nothing is there, say īMissī. If there is something there, say īHitī. The aim is to find all of the other teamīs ships before they find yours.
This really helps (Korean) students with key pronunciation problems but in a very enjoyable way.
