Word Cards - create 3 simple sentences and 3 questions
There are 6 sets of cards. Each column is one set of cards. Cut these out in to pieces and sort into the 6 sets. Give 1 set of cards to a group of 3 students.
1st - have the students create 3 simple statement sentences following the SVO rule (subject, verb, object). Eg. He is a teacher. Check the answers with the Ss
2nd - have the students change their statement sentences into questions by following the VSO rule (to be verb, subject, object) + ? Eg. Is he a teacher?
