This is a worksheet I developed when starting to teach issues to intermediate level students. I would get them to fill in the second page on their own, or as an alternative I would put up a sign saying ´strongly agree´ on one wall and ´strongly disagree´ on the other wall of the classroom and then read out the statements. Students then position themselves in the room to whevever they think they fall in their belief. Then you can start to debate by getting students to explain what they believe and why. It has always worked quite well for secondary students and it has some spaces that they can add their own expressions or you can add more too.
