MAGIC / WITCHCRAFT
This is a vocabulary lesson around witchcraft.
In the first exercise, the pupils have to combine the (Dutch) words with their proper picture. Of course, you can replace the Dutch words into another language. In the second exercise, the pupils have to complete the sentences using the correct English word. Maybe you can add a translation part to that... In the third exercise, the pupils watch a film part and answer oral questions. Afterwards, the teachers explains different ways that were used to prove that someone was a witch (cultural background). The pupils combine the descriptions with their correct terms. In the last exercises (writing), the pupils write a short essay with the title: ´If I were a witch/sorcerer...´
