As the title said, the students need to have seen the famous 1995 film by Jim Jarmush (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0112817/ )
It is aimed at students who are interested in cinema techniques and history. It helps them see the originality of this movie which can be analyzed at different levels : is it a western, a comedy, a satire of the Wild West conquest ? It also starts them thinking on Jim Jarmusch´s cinematic style (music, colours, use of shots/reverse shots etc.)
