The Cay notes on chapter 1 and 2
This is a handout of notes I wrote for my Year 10 ESL students to accompany chapter 1 and 2 of The Cay by Theodore Taylor. There are details about the characters, settings, themes, language and plot summaries for chapter 1 and 2. I gave this to my students after they had read chapter 1 and 2 and taken some notes of their own. This handout is helpful for ensuring their comprehension of the story and its narrative elements.
