Hurricane Katrina - New Orleans Disaster
Writing an article about how Hurricane Katrina caused all sorts of hardships for those living in New Orleans. Itīs a kind of mini-webquest where students can search the net for a number of pictures, news reports, first hand observations and more to piece together a kind of mosaic. The activity can be supplemented by student presentation boards with pictures collected and news articles of others in the class.
