A red bag please
Simple starter conversation activity. (1) Ss do the 2 short conversations with the teacher (positive and negative response to a request). (2) Ss each receive a few coloured item cards. (3) Ss cirlcle 2 options on the activity sheet - to show what they want to get. (4) Ss move around doing the conversation both as A and B with each partner. If "B" has the card that "A" wants, he/she gives it to "A", and visa-versa. After that activity, you can get a boy to ask all the girls (at once) and visa-versa, to see who gets most cards from the oppsosite team (I always have to "make" the boys and girls to to each other).
