For or against high-rise buildings (debating) + key
Well, here´s another worksheet aimed at debating for intermediate and advanced ss. Again with a special thank you to Esther Lee for the idea. An example why this site is so fabulous. We operate as a perfect tandem. EsterLee thinks and steers and I do the pedaling. Haha !! As usual students are first asked to brainstorm on the subject, what they think about the subject ! If they are for or against. Then, I give them the worksheet (with the pros and cons) which I leave them explore in pairs. The ws is mainly aimed at helping ss to take position on the subject and also enrich their vocabulary. It is composed of a list of pros and cons meant for advanced ss. Follows a second sheet providing extra vocabulary with their definition. KEY IS PROVIDED OF COURSE!
