Spelling Matrix
I have put together a spelling matrix for our spelling program. I used Gardiners Multiple Intelligence and Blooms Taxonomy grid and gathered a variety of spelling activities for students to complete.
When students have choosen their ten weekly spelling words, they must do Look Say Cover Write Check, find the meaning of the words and put them in a new sentence and then complete an activity from the grid.
The activities are activities that I gathered from other teachers and spelling resources that I had.
The students enjoy choosing the activity and the quality of work is fantastic. It also caters for all learners.
