The 1st 45-minute-lesson (of 2) on the topic Describing People -- Reading Comprehension for Upper Elementary and Lower intermediate students
This is the first of 2 lessons on personal description (2 Pages + B&W Version ). Reading tasks: After speculating about the text they are going to read (images, key words, parts of the speech, ..., students scan the tex to find information to complete the table (Notice that the students will end up with a systematization of Physical features essential to a description. Then, they do a multiple choice, find the opposites for the given words in the text and, finally, find examples in which the short form ´s is used as the 3rd person sing. of verbs to be or have got. Students are now well prepared to do the writing activity in the 2nd lesson, which I´ve also uploaded today. Hope you enjoy it! Have a nice day/evening! Hugs, mena :)))
