The signs of Zodiac - The Truth or Just a Stereotype
This is an activity that I worked on for a long time. I gathered some information about the stereotypes concerning the signs of zodiac, and I created the description for each of them. The main taks of it is to make students use the language in order to find out whether the signs reveal the truth about the person or not.
This activity card can be used in a variety of ways - beginning with "Are you + adjective" question, through more complicated questions referring to personality and describing a person (eg do you have a tendency to give orders to people" instead of direct question "Are you bossy?", up to discussing different types of personalities, different ways of perceiving people or various attitudes to some features of character (which might be perceived as both virtues and vices, depending on a person) or the question of stereotypes.
It also gives a great opportunity to practice reading.I used it in a variety of ways, depending on the level.
